中国国际电视台专题报道世界首台华龙一号机组运行情况（CGTN：Nuclear Energy: World's 1st Hualong-1 power units operating smoothly

　　近日，中国国际电视台记者走进中核集团福清核电5号机组，实地探访世界首台华龙一号机组，采访华龙首批值长牛朋亮、首位女“黄金人”模拟机教员曹宇华等人。8月13日，中国国际电视台专题报道华龙首台机组生产运行情况。

　　英：China  has been expanding  its  nuclear power capacity as part of plans to boost its green energy development. Our reporter Zheng Yibing visited  the  first power units using China’s third-generation Hualong-1 nuclear reactors.

　　中：‍中国华龙一号核电示范工程已经商业运行一段时间，CGTN记者郑亦冰近日重访华龙全球首堆，记录了那里最新进展。

　　英：These are the world’s very first power units using China’s Hualong-1  technology with  the newest  safety measures. In 2015, I witnessed its inception, and in January 2021, I reported its first commercial operation.So, how is the advanced 3rd-generation reactor working now? Follow me.

　　中：记者郑亦冰：这里就是世界上率先使用华龙一号技术的两台机组，它们采用了最新的安全措施。2015年，我在这里见证了第一台机组的动工，去年一月我报道过首堆商用启动。那么现在，这台先进的三代反应堆首堆运转情况如何，随我去看个究竟。

　　英：“This is the main control room of this power unit. And the staff here are busy working.

　　中：记者郑亦冰：这里是这台机组的主控室，这里的工作人员正在忙碌工作中。

　　英：These people’s job is as sensitive as pilots or astronauts for only very few could sit here after years of strict training and working. They say the unit has completed the very first phase of its commercial operation and they are pursuing excellence in its operational safety to meet the future assessment by the World Association of Nuclear Operators, knowns as WANO.

　　中：他们的工作和飞行员甚至和航天员一样宝贵，因为仅有为数不多的人能通过一年年严格的训练和工作才能最终在这里工作。他们说这台机组已经顺利完成商用第一阶段的运行，而他们也正在此过程中追求卓越的安全运行，以期未来迎接世界核电运营者协会的评估。

　　英：“The main daily duties of our operators include conducting periodic tests, switching between devices as well as maintenance. This is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the power unit.

　　中：华龙一号首批值长牛朋亮：我们每天的工作主要是进行一些定期实验，定期切换以及一些检修的工作，如此保证机组安全可靠的运行。

　　英：To avoid potential accidents like what happened to the 2nd-generation units of the Fukushima power plant, this unit adopts not only active but passive safety measures. Its designer says the unit’s double-layer shell can withstand a magnitude-9.0 earthquake and even an air crash. The staff working here also need to be specially trained.

　　中：为了避免二代机组例如福岛核电站的安全事故，这台三代机组采用能动和非能动安全措施。它的双层安全壳可以抵御九级地震甚至大飞机撞击。与此同时，核电站为世界上首台华龙机组工作人员设置了更高的工作标准。

　　英：“Our technical operation guidelines are complete, covering normal operation, malfunctions and accidents. Now, we focus more on our operators and their code of conduct.

　　中：华龙一号模拟机培训教员曹宇华：我们的运行技术文件的话已经很完备了，有正常运行、故障运行、事故运行，引入事故相关的规程体系，我们更多的是关注于操纵员的行为规范方面。

　　英：The unit is expected to produce electricity for at least one million people annually. And that’s not all.

　　中：这台机组预计将满足至少一百万人一年的用电需求。人们对它还有更高的期待。

　　英：“From this side of Fuqing power plant, we can see there is a sea water monitoring station and wind power generators in the distance, which means they want to use new energies to reduce the carbon emission.

　　中：记者郑亦冰：站在这里，我们可以看到福清核电站的海水水质检测站以及远处的风力发电装置，这也意味着这里希望通过新型能源进行碳减排。

　　英：At a time of global energy shortages, more countries or regions are choosing nuclear power as a green and sustainable form of energy. The operators here say each Hualong-1 power unit can cut carbon emissions by more than eight million tons per year and could help countries realize their carbon neutrality goals.

　　中：在全球能源短缺的今天，不少国家和地区已将核能视为绿色能源。核电运行人员说，华龙一号每台机组的运转较之于传统方式，每年能减少二氧化碳排放800多万吨，可以帮助一些国家实现到2050年的碳减排目标。
